Saudi Arabia
End-of-Service Calculator
Your gratuity under Saudi Labor Law.
When to use it
Use it before resigning, when a contract ends or when budgeting for staff costs, to estimate the end-of-service award under the Saudi Labor Law.
Examples
- 10,000 SAR wage, 7 years, contract ended: 5 × ½ month + 2 × 1 month = 45,000 SAR.
- Same employee resigning: 7 years falls in the 5–10 year band, so two thirds = 30,000 SAR.
Common mistakes
- Using basic salary only when your contract's award wage includes fixed allowances such as housing.
- Resigning a few weeks before reaching 2, 5 or 10 years, which can sharply change the award.
